PhD (Post Graduate studies)
The Postgraduate studies program is focused on research training program for research & development, expertise and consulting.
The PhD program is accessible to students who have obtained their Master’s degree or to international students with an equivalent degree. Postgraduate students are supervised by an academic thesis supervisor in the scientific research units of the University of Burgundy.
This program is conducted within three accredited Postgraduate Schools :
- LISIT Postgraduate School (Langages, Idées, Sociétés, Institutions et Territoires) - (Languages, Ideas, Societies, Institutions and Territories) , for Humanities
- E2S Postgraduate school (Environnement Santé STIC)for Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Health, Earth Sciences and IT
- Carnot Postgraduate School for Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics Each research team is integrated into the appropriate graduate school.
Enrollment in the degree is for 36 months or 3 academic years.
It leads to the writing of a dissertation that is presented and defended before a jury before being awarded the grade of PhD from the University of Burgundy.
