Short training programmes in the field of vine and wine sciences for international professionals

Our Jules Guyot Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences organizes a two short programmes Terroir and vineyard management and Burgundy winemaking specificities designed for international professionals (academics, journalists, cellar masters, restaurateurs...) and completely taught in English.

The aim of these two programs is to understand the diversity, the enhancement of Terroirs, the viticulture in Burgundy and the different winemaking strategies used for Pinot noir and Chardonnay.

These programmes are managed by Doctor Benjamin Bois, climate and terroirs specialist, Associate professor at the University of Burgundy and Professor Hervé Alexandre, Responsible of National Diploma in Oenology.

Terroir and Vineyard Management (3-day programme) is complementary to Burgundy Winemaking Specificities (2-day programme). Both sessions, take place in February 2019, from 4th to 8th, at the Jules Guyot Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin) in Dijon, France.
